Hey everyone I'm new here nice to meet you all. So after extensive research into buying a decent centre for my living room that can use the full potential of my Pioneer ELITE receiver. I was thinking to get the Tannoy revolution DC4 LCR I tested it at Trutone Audio here in Mississauga (Canada) and it sounded fantastic for a small centre but it might be to small just in case I want to expand into a full cinema with projector in the basement but it would fit my tv unit perfectly. Or I was thinking about the Klipsch Centre Channel Speaker (RC52) a big centre for my tv stand but the sound might be awesome. Does anyone own or have experience with either speaker? They are within my budget at around 400ish. Thanks for you help.

You should match the center channel to your left and right speakers. What are they?

Sony B1000 magnetically shielded book shelf speakers 120watts max input power. They are not the greatest in the world but do the job surprisingly really well but I am going to up grade right after I get my centre channel within the next couple of weeks any ways to either Tannoy or Klipsh just can't decide at the moment.

Pick out the new left and right first and then match the center to them.

+1
My HT is a Klispch setup and I am biased toward their sound when it comes to watching movies. Having said that, it would really depend on your budget. The RC-52 is okay; however, I think Klipsch begins to show its stuff more in the more expensive lines

Good luck.

BTW-Don't forget to check out used options in your area, deals on Klipsch and other brands are a lot more common around here than I would have thought until I started looking for them.

In my opinion Tannoy sound a lot better than Klipsch.

I've got an RC-52 center & RB-61 fronts. Like them a lot.

Thanks for the advice guys I ended up getting the Klipsch Centre Channel Speaker (RC52) half price at only $250! The speaker is awesome, the dialogue/voices are natural and pure and I can hear the little sounds from each film that I couldn't from my small home theatre in a box style centre.
