No prob :D

And wow! Congrats! An SVS PC13-Ultra! Man, you could fit an ocean into the gulf between that little SuperCube and your new subwoofer! :p That's definitely going to be fun for ya. Awesome.

:)

As for the receiver, my whole Onkyo, Denon & Marantz fandom pretty much comes down to Audyssey. Personally, I just don't find Pioneer's MCACC or Yamaha's YPAO to be as effective.

To me, getting MultEQ XT or (even better, but only in way more expensive models at the moment) MultEQ XT32 is really important. 2EQ is a deal breaker to me, since it doesn't EQ the bass at all, which is where you need EQ the most! And MultEQ is ok, but it's pretty coarse in its measurements. MultEQ XT is a significant step up. And XT32 is extremely impressive.

So, the TX-NR709 gives you MultEQ XT and the important speaker pre-outs for your future external amp(s). Buying from accessories4less, it's easily the least expensive AV Receiver to do so.

So again, I just think the TX-NR709 should be a lock. No better deal, and it's perfect for your needs. So I hope you'll jump on it. After the PC13-Ultra purchase, the TX-NR709 should be like a drop in the bucket for ya!

:p

Enjoy!

Just purchased the Onkyo 709! thx FR I'll post how everything goes.

Last piece I suppose I need help with is the amp. I know you guys mentioned Emotovia.... any other ones I should look at? So just so I understand the addition of the amp to my current set up is just for more "loudness", correct?

Or does the addition of an amp help with clarity of sound as well? thx again!
