Need a tuner...music only

Looking for something simple to run patio speakers. I would prefer to set up in my HT rack (have a Denon, but 7.1 means I can't use speaker out for patio).

Need to be able to connect iPod and have speaker cable out capability. Otherwise just want to keep it simple and cost effective....any ideas?

You need a receiver and a cheap cable.

You need an amplifier to drive speakers. A tuner alone won't do it.

A receiver is a combined tuner and amplifier.

What's your price range and how many speakers are you talking about?

I'm assuming two channel, correct?

You can't run your Denon's zone 2 to a separate power amp, and from there to the patio speakers?
