After researching several cd players, this looks like it will probably be my choice based on my budget. I heard this player at a local dealer's shop and it was impressive. If you own this player or have experience with it please post your comments. Thanks.

I have its older cousin, the c521i. I don't think it sounds any different than my 300 disk Sony. So its been living in a closet. If you want to pick it up I'll sell it for $20 (I do have the remote).

Oops! My 521 is the predecessor to the current 525BEE , not the new 542.
