Here they are in my family room setup. Currently powered by Bryston and ATI.

Description…

The 3-way UNRIVALED 8300/PX flagship tower speaker features RBH’s award-winning aluminum cone technology and easily outperforms tower speakers costing much more. The 8300/PX lets its listeners experience their favorite movies and music in a way never thought possible, until now. Remarkable full-range performance is provided by the aluminum cone 8-inch woofers and reference 6½-inch mid-range drivers and AMT tweeter. Dual rear-firing ports help the 8300/PX achieve its full-range response down to 25 Hz, and dual 5-way binding posts allow for increased performance through bi-amplification with a subwoofer amplifier such as DA-2602DSP

The improved construction and upgraded handmade crossover provides several key benefits over reference. The rigidity of construction ensures only the drivers are doing the talking and reduces cabinet resonance. This means there is less smearing and a more defined imaging stage. Due to the extra weight, transient response is also improved.

The crossover is comprised of hand selected parts and doesn't stray from the tried and true RBH tone curve. The high quality parts results in an enhanced sound that improves upon the already excellent imaging, soundstage characteristics, and transient response of the Reference version. Greatness is refined. This speaker is worthy of consideration for any 2ch hi-fi enthusiast.

Excellent and congratulations! I'm assuming there is a rug out of the picture and if not curious as to what your impression is of the sound is without one. Enjoy the new speakers and looking forward to your comparison compared to your other RBH speakers!

Thanks!!

The rug arrives next week. :) I plan on taking measurements of the room with/without and I’ll post the charts here. The room opens up to the kitchen so it’s fairly large.

The 8300/px are a true high-end tower—smooth, powerful, and detailed. But the SVTRS scale everything up. They’re effortlessly dynamic, the bass digs deeper and stays cleaner, and the entire presentation feels larger and more realistic. The SVTRS give you that ‘live event’ feeling where everything just sounds effortless and unlimited.

My RBH SX-T2 towers were placed about 3 Ft from the front wall. So I experimented with moving them to only 3” from the front wall. The measurement looks better 3FT away from the wall. But subjectively, they sounded awesome with both distances. :D

I bet the rug will be a significant difference vs just hard floor both subjectively and objectively. I was going to experiment with that, but got lazy and didn’t want to move my bigg-a$$ rug. :D
