Sorry if I missed it but for a budget HT which would you prefer 2030p or EMP?
The EMP 41s aren't big enough for home theater. They're really intended for a small office or small bedroom. They're much better speakers than the $150/pr B2030P but the 2030P will fill a larger room. For a mid sized room on a $400/pr budget look at Usher's S-520. They'll just need to crossover to the sub no lower than 80hz though. There's a review on the main site.

Yeah... just read more after I asked. The 2030p for 120 a pair is much more in the intended use in the room I was thinking of. Its a rarely used second room (living room).

The 2030Ps are good speakers for the money - just homely. Now that the price of the Behringers have gone up I'd look at the Infinity Primus P162 ($85ea shipped). There is a review of the P162 on the main site, and a 2007 budget speaker faceoff with both speakers compared. Either will need the help of a subwoofer.
