My Living Room System

Here's my living room setup. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. The only thing I really need is a second subwoofer.

Thanks man! The big living room is one thing we really loved about the house. The space it nice, especially for our annual Superbowl Parties.

Me too. Look how much space to position the fronts. Very nice

Are you using any fans to extract the heat from the cabinet or you just leave it open when using the system?
Anyway, I think it could use some dusting

Nice! That's a great cabinet. Like Dave, I wish that I had the room for that. If I got something that big, I wouldn't have any place for my front speakers.

Is your center channel angled down? If not, have you tried that? It might help to have it pointed more directly at the seating position. It seems quite high up there.

I agree. Giving the front speakers some space really does make a difference. Your surround speaker placement is good too. I like it. I am sure you do too!!!

The center channel is the only speaker that needs work but with that large entertainment center, not many options.

Thanks everyone!! I do have the center channel angled down. I don't run any fans in the cabinet. The Pioneer runs really cool.....even when I run it hard. There are large slits in the back of the cabinet for cables & they do a great job of keeping things cool.

That wall is huge. When I first got the 61", my sister came over and said, "Man, you need a bigger TV, it looks so small against that wall". I said, "that is a bigger TV....it just replaced the 51" TV!!!!!!" But, as you can see how open everything is, I really need to get a second sub. I'm very happy with everything right now. It's way better than going to the movies & putting up with rowdy crowds.

The only thing I don't like about the cabinet is that it does require frequent dusting!!!! Black is pretty, but hard to keep clean!!!
