HOT DAMN. well, now i don't mind putting a little more into them. but at the same time, i had originaly wanted 2 subs for $600, and i now have that.

the 2496. i am assuming i just run my sub out(txh01) to the 2496, then to the ep2500.
am i wrong ? i allready have extra xlr adaptors.
later on i will connect my mains to the DCX. but for now, it will just be a sub eq.

is there a DCx2496 tutorial anywhere ?

One.;)

You should be fine with a LP of 18hz using a 12db/octave, that's what I'm running after Chris recommended it.
Yes but you are using a different driver with a higher wattage rating.

At his wattage rating he should be fine, but I don't want him to blow his drivers in a movie. So I'm just giving a warning.

just did a little adjusting & testing. i got an uncorrected 114db 20hz at my chair. afterwards, i found i had the ep2500 set at the 3oclock position, if that makes any difference. stereo, mcacc off.

Wait, what did I miss? When did you switch drivers? How do those compare to the kappas?
