At first i saw the sub next to couch & thought "thats all the bass he has in that large room?" but then i saw the second one up front & thought "oh good he has 2 subs!". Dual 12"s probably sounds pretty good in there!
Very cozy livingroom. Great speaker placement. Id bring the back couch off the wall a few feet & pull all the seats a bit closer to tv. This would give you a better rear sound presentation at the same time getting you a little closer to the screen. Just a thought!
So have you done the bass crawl & found that those 2 locations you have your subs are the best sounding?
Ive read that having dual subs equal distance from your seat is optimal. Or just from looking at the room id try leaving the front sub in that front left corner area but move the rear sub to the rear left corner area. This way they both benefit from corner loading which will give you more output & they will be placed across the room from eachother in opposite diagonal corners. This would probably give you great coverage & good boundary gain. Since your room is open to other areas you need to use all the tricks in the book.
Do you have the subs level matched or gain matched?
