This is a pic of one of the unfinished 1262w's. I plan to add another layer of MDF and roundover the edges and paint them matt black.
This is a view of the two rows of surrounds. Audyssey did a pretty good job of getting everything right. I need to replace the impedance averaging switch with an actual amp. On the to-do list.
This is the DIY AT screen. Constructed out of poplar, velvet, a silver spandex, and black spandex behind to reduce light leakage.
This is pretty dark, but those are my two rows of couches.
Last is a pic of my HTPC front end (SageTV).
The room has been great. It is apparent I am no pro installer, but I built everything myself that I could to keep cost down.
Next on the list is some sub-dude's to decouple them so they stop rattling all the "artwork", an amp for the second set of surrounds, a rack, carpet for the riser (sitting in my garage), 3 pairs of Pioneer SP-BS22-LR to replace the current surround and back speakers, new layer of MDF and paint on the subs, upgraded drivers for the sub, a second XLS1500, and a fan for the closet to vent into my attic (suggestions welcome).
