Hi people! :)

What do you think about this audio equipment? What would you say about quality? How would you rate this from 0-100? Also for how much I can sell this?

2x Jamo E800 Black
2x Jamo Cornet 145 Black
1x Jamo E6 CEN
Yamaha YST SW205 subwoofer
Yamaha RX-V596 RDS

Connected to PC with Creative SB1090.
I use it to edit videos, watch movies and listen to music.
I would like to change all of this for pair of studio monitors but I really don't know is this worth anything and what speakers I should buy to get good / better sound quality.
Thanks!!!

The best way to get a valuation of what you have is to look on eBay and see what other models have actually sold for. It's impossible to say that they are worth $200 or $500 if nobody is actually buying at that price, and basically you are just asking us to do this basic research for you.

As to the sound quality, that depends a great deal on what your expectations are, what you hope to achieve with something else like active studio monitors, and what your budget is for that 'improvement'. So much boils down to personal preference that it can be crazy and at the end you could drop $1,000/pr. on monitors and have a sound quality that is no better than what you started with.

The Yamaha RX-V596 sells for around $90 on eBay, if that helps. Unless you have something really rare or older, like a pristine condition old Marantz receiver, electronics today aren't worth much. Like when you buy a new car it loses value as soon as you drive it off the lot. Several years ago I was having money problems and tried to sell my USA stamp collection from when I was a kid, thinking I'd get something since many of the stamps were old. The local dealer was not interested.

Yeah you sell your setup. Just don't expect to get retail prices no matter how old or new it is. Get what you can of course. If your wanting to up your game into better sound quality? Start with your L/R mains first! A good pair of bookshelfs come in around 1K. Towers will add you another 1K and or you may find used maybe. But be careful with that usually they'll be older models and out of warranty. Now as for AVR, amps, if that's the way you want to go, can start at around 1k and up to around $1.500.00 up to 3k for flagship line. Sky's the limit of Your bank account. Gotta huge bank account? Than think Pre-Pro processor higher end speakers the list is very long only your imagination and bank account come into play. Jump online research! Start at crutchfield or monitor audio go from there! Happy hunting!!

Thank you guys!!!!
As I got it I can sell all of that for around 400 USD in my country.
If I add 100 bucks more can I get anything that sounds better than what I have for ~500 USD?
Also, I want to get rid of all cables and all mess with the receiver to many components. I would love to have just a pair of active monitors and connect them to Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.

For $500 USD you're not going to get a full surround sound setup and an AVR that is an upgrade to what you have.

For $500 USD you could get an entry AVR new. No speakers.

Or for $500 USD you could get some very entry towers or some decent bookshelf speakers, but nothing to drive them.

Stick with what you have.

Very best,

What monitors/active speakers could you get for $500 where you are?

An interesting mishmash of speakers (not unusual for new members I should say).
Jamo E800 was part of a set that included E 8CEN center speaker.
Subjective review here:
Take it with a grain of salt.

$500 for active speakers, I'd go with these:

So, I'm getting an idea that you have no interest in surround sound or using the equipment you have in a standard surround sound setup with television and audio playback as it is designed and want to go from that surround sound setup to a stereo setup connected to your Focusrite. The Focusrite product is pretty pointless if you aren't doing a fair bit of audio editing. It's just a nifty external sound card with a lot of inputs and outputs on it for bringing audio into and out of a computer. Either for live streaming or for mixing and playback.

WHAT IS YOUR GOAL?

You've kind of indicated that you want to sell stuff and wondering how much you'll get (which we can't really tell you). But, if you are looking to buy something new, then you should discuss what it is you will be doing with what you have.

Understand that active studio monitors (once again) do NOT necessarily sound any better than what you already have. But, they will be quite simple. They will playback audio from your Focusrite audio card without adding additional processing into the mix. So, it's a clean way to get neutral playback of what you are doing. Many sets of headphones can do similar and may be better suited if you aren't livestreaming and don't want to disturb the whole house with what you are doing. Once again, a personal choice.

Looks like this is what you have so for those who are offering up their thoughts on actual active studio monitors, they can check out what you are connecting things to:
