My first post, need advice

I guess I should start with what equipment I have...

Speakers: Front/Rear Klipsch RSX4, Center is a 3 Speaker Klipsch but I lost the plate and don't know the model number. I have a Klipsch KSW12 subwoofer.

Receiver: Sony DA3100ES

Satellite: DirecTV HR21-700 HD-DVR

Television: Mitsubishi WD-65833

DVD Player: Oppo OPDV971H

Set-up: The room is large and the furthest couch is about 16' from the front of the TV screen The TV is offset to the left from center. The left most edge of the TV is approximately center to the two front and rear speakers. I have not figured out yet how to adjust the receiver to compensate for this. If anyone knows, please tell me. I also lost the user manual for the receiver, I will be looking for a PDF to try to D/L. I also think I got screwed out of my second remote (which I will need when I set up my outdoor and bedroom distributed audio).

Positioning: The front/rear speaker are ceiling mounted with speaker pre-wires. The sub is place in the rear left corner of the room and hooked up with pre-wire from a wall plate. The rear speakers are mounted even with the head position of the person sitting on the couch. I am trying to compensate for this by turning the speakers to face about 30 degrees to the rear wall. I will need advice on this as well.

Wiring: I have the Sat receiver and DVD player hooked directly to the TV using HDMI. I have the audio from the DVD and Sat receiver using digital optical cables. I wasn't sure if using digital coaxial would be better or not. I was told by someone that I should use digital coax for the DVD.

Future upgrades: I will be adding a PS3 for BRD. This will be a second PS3 for the home but I figure, why not buy a PS3 instead of a standalone player? I have distributed audio - 2 speakers, in the upstairs master bedroom and I have pre-wire for outdoor patio (2) speakers. I am pretty sure the receiver will be able to handle this, but I am not too sure since I lost my manual.

The other future upgrade will be replacing the Mitsubishi with a HD projector. This will be happening pretty soon. I am not sure which model I am going to buy yet. I am going to put the TV in the master bedroom. I am just going to use an old BOSE set-up for that. The kids have a Sharp LCD 1080P 47" to play there PS3 an watch their shows. I just hooked up my old computer speakers in that room (Logitech Z5500).

BTW, I have another Klipsch RSX4 speaker. I should probably hook this up as a surround back speaker. The problem is, the ceiling was not pre-wired for this. I am not sure how to accomplish the wiring for this without running speaker wire along the wall, making it look a bit ugly. I am also not sure if I would want to mount this on the ceiling as far back as possible, or if I should mount it on the rear wall, just a bit lower. If I ceiling mount it, should I point it straight down? The other question is, if I am going to run wires to the surround back, should I consider buying one more of the Klipsch RSX4 speakers and do two side ceiling mounts for a true 7.1 setup?

What do you think? Any advice is welcome!
