Where do you live, how big are you.
(trying to determine if I should come to your place and try to take your stuff:D)

Seriously, it looks very nice. I would move the front left/right out from the walls a bit however, and of course get yourself the SVS of your dreams.;)

I live in IL, and Im 6'4" about 135lbs :)

I would move the speaker out, but Im too picky and it wont look as nice. Im working on getting that SVS as well, cause Ive always wanted it :)

Definatly better than the basement, I still have to adjust it all but its already better. Besides that Its MY place :D

As far as the rap, I listen to a lil but not really at home. My neighbor on the other hand likes to. My speakers are pointing to the common wall, but they dont really have that much bass. I would have put it the other way around but the jack for the TV is on the TV wall. Getting back to the neighbor, hes a motivating force for me to get that SVS, so I can "out pound" him :D At least thats the argument Im using on the girlfriend.

Thanks for all the good comments guys. Im so happy to finally have my equipment in a actuall room (even if it isnt ideal) Its kinda funny the basemnet was brought up, because thats WHY Im in an apartment now. Short story, toilet on the second floor over flowed onto my speaker (I was awake and moved it right away) at about 3am, that was kinda the final straw.

Againg thanks guys, keep the coments comming. I would like to know if you guys think I should arrange my DVD's differently (like all the way across then down as oppsed to down one side then the next)

I dont want to only "out pound" (that does sound wrong) my neighbor. Im using it as an excuse to obtain a SVS, so I can be louder :D Im tempted to go by my neighbor and see what he has, but Im worried that its gonna be some junk system and Ill have to pretend to like it (because audio will be my excuse to go over there) I dont really want to just go complain just to complain. Well see how he is with the noise, Ill go from there.

Thanks for the comments again, keep em commin.

You really are determined to make everything look just right aren't you? I'm the same way so here's my two cents on the question.

My brain favors symmetry so I would arrange them (in alphabetical order of course!) from left to right and leave the bottom shelves empty until such time as you can go on a spending spree and buy enough to fill all the shelves.

Just for kicks, here is my buddys place in the same building. Its the same as my place just reversed.

And here is me in his kitchen, just to give you an idea of what you would have to deal with if you busted into my place trying to get my A/V gear.

Ok enjoy :D

Nice looking setup, it looks to me like the first pictures were taken Tuesday, at about 8pm. :p

I'm 6'4" 135 too, but you look to weigh about 1.25 times as much as me. :D

nice setup you got there. I have the same tv as you do.How long have you had your center resting on top of the tv? Reason I ask is that I had heard that you shouldn't rest your center on top of it due to the delicate bezel design of the samsung and that it would start to weigh down the tv causing geometry issues. I am currently using a onmimount as well, assuming that is what you are using, but been hesitating whether or not I should remove the center from the top.

Yeah I have the omni mount for the center. Ive had it on there since I got the TV about 3-4 months ago. I havent noticed anything, and I hope I dont becacuse I dont have any options for the center other than that. Im gonna put a pic later today, so you all can see the DVD rack.

Aaaaaah yes....... the first apartment!! You have a nice looking clean first diggs. In fact, your apartment & furniture look absolutely nothing like my first apartment did. (shared with 3 other guys)

Our furniture was soooo bad, that we decided it was easier to toss some of it off the 3rd floor balcony than to carry it down the stairs when the lease ran out.:D :D :D

PS..... that old sleeper sofa weighed a ton!! They sure don't make 'em like they used to....LOL
