I have both the 609 AVR and the 8050 stereo receiver. Both have the music optimizer function which is said to be for MP3 files that are compressed. It is said to add to the higher frequencies.
To me quite frankly when I use the music optimizer it just sounds like a mild bass boost, like 1/2 the effect of a loudness button and I like it for most sources, movies, tv, Mp3, cd, etc.
Has anyone else experienced this with their Onkyo?
