Multiple sources, displayed at same time

Ok, I have a question. I am a bit a of a newbie in regard to AV equipment. I have setup a few systems before. But now, I want to do something that I am unsure if its even possible.

Ok, so I have three High Def TVS. Each has an HDMI and component inputs. I have 3 FIOS boxes, 3 DirecTV boxes, XBOX 360, PS3, WII and a regular old DVD player. So, 10 inputs there.

What I would like is a receiver, or something I could build custom that would allow me to display one of the sources on each TV at the same time. So, on TV 1 I would display the XBOX 360, TV 2 would display the DirecTV box and TV 3 would display the PS 3.

But then, say I wanted to just switch the source and put the XBOX 360 on TV 2 and put the DirecTV box on TV 1.

Is this possible? I saw a Denon AVR-5308CI receiver that allows for two outputs, but nothing that allows for three. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Thanks. The only "problem" with something like the Crestron is that it it needs to be installed by professionals. That adds a bit too much to the price. Anybody know of any residential options for able consumers? Thanks

I was being in "overkill" mode:D For multiple HD video sources distributed that would by the best type of gear you need for full controll. You could very well modulate each source onto an open channel and use a RF based remote and that would do the trick for ya;) This was the way of the "past" without zone outputs on AVRs and still works very well. I do this with the Tivo and the DVD in the HT for whole house.

This matrix video switcher might work:

This box does 3 sources and up to 5 outputs so a couple of these (and lots or remote macros) would be required for your system.
If you narrow down your list (i.e. Xbox and Wii are always on the same display, switched by the receiver) then you can reduce the number of necessary inputs.

Another option would be a couple Composite or HDMI splitter boxes for the sources that you want to "share" with multiple displays. This will only work if each display has multipe component and/or HDMI inputs. For example, connect a FIOS box, a satelite box, and a "shared" DVD signal directly to each display. Use the display's remote to select one of the available inputs. Use the receiver to switch the X-box, wii, etc.

Either option will require lots of cables, so check out monoprice.com
