On my Denon AVR-4310ci receiver, If I play music (analogue source = "CD") in the main zone and zone 2, I notice about a 1 second delay. AKA zone 2 is 1 second behind the main zone.

My main zone and zone 2 are separated by sliding glass doors. So when the doors are open, and you stand at the doors, you are right between the two zones. This produces a very annoying audio effect...

- Main zone speakers connect to front, center, & surround speaker terminals (5 total)
- The zone 2 speakers connect to "surr,back/amp assign" speaker terminals (2 total)
- "surr,back/amp assign" settings are default "zone 2" - outputs zone2 audio.

I contacted Denon support via their 'chat' tool. The support rep. told me this is expected. She said I need a new model receiver (x5200w) that offers "all zone stereo". "AZS" doesn't have these kind of audio delays.

Questions:
1. Does the info the denon support rep gave me sound right?
2. Is there a way to resolve the 'delay' I'm experiencing by altering some receiver settings?
3. Will test it tomorrow, but should I have this same delay when I play a digital source ( HDMI - apple tv)?
4. Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated!
