Good morning everyone. I just moved and went to set up my computer stereo again and the APA150 works great with my Infinity bookshelf speakers but when I hook up the F12 from the back of the APA outputs to the sub in on the F12 I cant get the sub to work the speakers still work. The power light on the sub turns on and I can hear the sub pulse when I plug and un plug something from the aux port on my computer. When I am playing music though nothing comes from it. Did I just completely forget to put something together here or did something get broken on the move.

Thanks!

What software are you using on the PC? Did you check the settings? Can you plug a CD player or ipod directly into the sub to rule it out?

I have tried the stock windows, then realtek audio and the razer audio controls and I cant get anything. This sub doesnt have the ability to just plug a phone in to it to try the music the only way I have is the APA out put to there and thats where the problem seems to be from where it out puts from the APA to in the input of the F12

The sub has line level inputs so you can use a phone with rca adapter or CD player .

So everything works good. It looks like the switch on the back that shows receiver type got broken during the move. Im going to have to take the back off and see what got broken inside of there. That has to be the problem if I were to guess

Was intrigued about your comment about "receiver type". What an odd and somewhat confusing designation that F-12 has (the receiver type thing). Is that like the LFE designation on other subs (to bypass the low pass filter on the sub)?

I have no idea but bic said they will send me a new amp for 125 shipped! May have to do that cheaper than buying a new one
