I wish I could afford it, go for it. The RX-Z9 looks like a big winner in my opinion.

A not very informative review (ie, you can read most of this in the sales brochures, which is less gushing).

It's not as informative as Audioholics thats for sure.
I just thought that some would like to read it in waiting for Gene's review?
I thought that some might be interested in reading the lab measurements.
It does not seem to be overated at all in the watts per channel output!

Since I have the Z-9 as well as another Yamaha 260W rms amp, I can tell you with co tention that the wattage as well as the receiver is not over rated at all.
