Saw the Experience Hendrix tour this week. An all star lineup played Jimi Hendrix songs. Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Johnson, Marcus King, Devon Allman, Zakk Wylde and a number of backing musicians and singers shredded solo and together for almost 3 hours. Kenny closed the show with Voodoo Chile Slight Return.

Best show I’ve seen in years.

Haven't been to a big name/big venue show in quite a while myself. We get live music down at the pub fairly regularly, tho. That Hendrix Experience would have been fun!

I hear you. We like going to small theaters and clubs instead of stadiums now. Better sound, sight lines and lower ticket prices.

Yep agree, plus for me its a fairly long drive to bigger venues. Plus did the big concert thing for many years, even did logistics in the industry for a bit. Our pub is fine with me generally.
