3db Audioholic Slumlord Nov 19, 2013 #5 I rented that two weeks ago. I was little disappointed thinking it would be a little funnier with the adult jokes than it was. The first one is still the best by far.

However, I can see why (or at least hazard a guess why) they didn't go that route. It seems to me that they wanted to do more character development and put the audience in a situation where they could really get to know and connect more with the main characters. IMHO, if they were going to go with another funny movie, I think a sequel probably would have made more sense than a prequel, but for what I assume is the purpose, I think it worked nicely. darien87 Audioholic Spartan Nov 20, 2013 #7 The wife and I watched it last weekend. It was OK. Not as funny as the original, (and I wasn't even a big fan of the original). One thing that surprised me was the number of names I recognized as voice actors. Man they got everybody to be in that movie.
