Monoprice 3 isn't
just a portable Bluetooth speaker with plenty of clean digital power for indoor/outdoor sound. It's also got a surprising array of in/outs for its price, including stereo RCA, 3.5-mm, optical digital in and a sub-out. The Bluetooth "party speaker" can double as a TV soundbar with a powered sub to bring up the bottom-end. It's also got a replaceable batter pack to extend the life of this speaker's portability. Best of all it blasts with chest thumping results that can easily fill a large room or backyard with stable, low-distortion sound at high volumes. Even I must admit, hooking up a sub to this speaker was a superfluous indulgence, it was hella' fun to do. In this article I share thoughts on my user-experience with the device when I took it way up north to the cottage over the summer.
