What's the deal with monoprice screens? Anybody have one? They are very cheap in price. Are they worth the money?

I have one. It seems at least equal in quality to my previous Da-Lite screen. I don't think you can go wrong.

I would expect them to be similar to a motorized version of the Da-Lite Model B or similar. That is, very cheap, and very typical. You will end up with waves in the screen fabric in a year or two due to environmental reasons.

It is far better to go with a permanently fixed on-wall screen, or a tab-tensioned screen if possible.

The price is okay, but you can get a manual screen for about 100 bucks, which means you can save $100+ and put it towards a fixed on-wall screen next year.
