I got this for $550 a week ago, looks like they raised the price. The Chief Lifts cost $2000 plus, so this seemed pretty economical.

Has anyone installed a projector lift? Any tips?

The main thing is to ensure that the allthread used is securely mounted above it when fastening the lift and to have enough hands available to put it in place properly. They are typically pretty heavy.
