This year has been very interesting so far as many companies keep pushing the envelope with newer, better audio products. We've seen everything from small Bluetooth speakers to complex multi-channel speakers systems. And speaking of speaker systems, one of my favorite speaker companies have launched their new Gold Line of speakers and I must confess that I'm pretty excited about that. Let me introduce the new Gold 300 Tower Loudspeaker from Monitor Audio.

This beautiful 3-way loudspeaker stands at over a meters tall comprising twin 6.5" bass drivers, a single 4" mid-range driver and a high frequency ribbon transducer. According to MA, the Gold 300 has the power required to fill the largest rooms with excellent dynamics and musical detail with frequencies extending from below 30Hz to over 60kHz. It's no secret how much I like the way MA builds their speakers. Their attention to detail is very impressive no matter the price range. In fact, I was talking about that yesterday on another overview. Al I can day is that I have had the opportunity of auditioning most of their products and I must confess that I already have very high expectations.

I recently bought the Gold 300 & Gold 350, have around 100 hours on them and they are simply amazing. For the longest time I was torn between Revel F208 & C208, took a 3 hour drive to audition them and was left feeling underwhelmed, I had Monitor Audio RS6, RS FX, RS LCR & RX1 in a 7.1 setup previously.
The Gold 300 & 350 were to replace my front 3, all I can say is WOW. That Ribbon tweeter is to die for!
Love them to pieces, no need for the fancy Ebony finish as the Walnut is just beautiful to look at. Very happy with my purchase. :)
