Mission speakers??????

My brother in law just called and found a pair of Mission ce775 speakers. I don't know anything about them, does anyone have any experience with mission?

I don't know anything about the speakers you mentioned specifically, but my experience with Mission has been positive. I have heard their more recent stuff isn't as good, but I don't think the 775's are recent speakers.

I looked them up and for 100 bucks he is going to buy them. They retailed for $2000 in 2003.

Sweet I get to go pick them up and try them out first!!!! I will leave feedback on how they sound. Another associate of mine told me that the 775 sounds alot like the b&w 683 and now I am excited..

That's a no brainer....run, don't walk. I've always liked Mission loudspeakers historically. I don't think I've heard as many of the newer models as I have the vintage stuff.

I think I am going to give my brother my sapphire st-2s instead of these missions. I have not heard them yet but I called a couple of friends and everybody says go get them..I am excited about these......

Whiel Mission products are nowhere NEAR as good as they were 20 years ago, they do still make a good mid to high-end product. At that price, they are a great deal.
