Missing the mounting hole at the end of my bookshelf speakers

I picked up a pair of yamaha bookshelfs a few weeks ago and now im considering mounting them on the wall. Problem is, the hook on the back of most bookshelf speakers is missing on mine. Is there any way I would be able to drill one of those hooks into my speaker and then proceed to mounting it?

Are they rear ported? They may not be designed to be wall mountable. I would check the Yamaha web site to see if there is information on the speaker placement. You could also put the model number here in case someone is familiar with them.
