I am debating buying a pair of the Mirage OMD-28's. I currently own the older Mirage OM-9's in a 5.1 setup. I wanted to hear from someone who owns the OMD-28's. I have read the reviews online.
Do they sound detailed, excellent?
If you are a Mirage owner, would they sound much better and detailed than the older speakers like my OM-9's?
I recently listened to a pair of B&W CM9's and they were very detailed, and rich sounding, I realize they are different speakers being direct radiators., but I was very impressed! They are a few hundred dollars more each than the greatly discounted Mirage OMD-28's. I am currently running two Mirage Subs, so bass isn't too much of a concern, although I understand that the OMD-28's have a great bass response.
