Mirage OMD-15 over 50% off at Crutchfield

Hi, I looked at these speakers along time ago and just saw them at Crutchfield for 650$ off. I have never heard them so I thought id come here for advice. Are these a steal for the price or are they discounted because they suck? If anyone has heard them please drop any type of comment. thanx

I'd say it is a great deal. I love the Mirage sound and would not think twice about this purchase if I had the dough.

The only reason that I didn't give this two big thumbs up when the original question was asked was because there is not free return shipping. So, if Murlin didn't like them, he'd have to cough up some dough to send them back. Certainly might be worth that small risk, though. I'd just recommend calling Crutchfield to ask how much that shipping would be.

I'm a long time Mirage fan, and I'm having a very hard time resisting the sale.
Vann's also has them, and they have the OMD-28's at $3k/pair.
Original price was $7500.

I have owned several pairs of Mirage and they were amazing. I have not heard their little nano's but I am sure they sound great. At 50% off I would take a gamble with the only expense being return shipping if you don't like them. Although I think you will be very happy with them.....
