So I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of Millenia 300's with a Seismic 12. I am using the Millenia 30 as my center and a pair of SA-15r's as my rears. I was wondering what my cross-over on my amp should be set at for optimal performance. Here is a list of my gear:

Denon 3808ci
Anthem MCA 20
Anthem MCA 30

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Looks like they go down to around 55 HZ or so. I would start with the average 80-90hz crossover for the mains, use the AVR and turn the crossover on the sub all the way up. Does your AVR allow for different crossover settings for the surrounds?

Yes, I have a Denon 3808CI. It can select different crossovers for different channels.

I have the crossover set to 60Hz at the moment, and man does the bass really disapear in the room. I've set it to 80Hz and it sounds like you can pinpoint the subwoofer in the room no probem. Is 60hz to low? Am I missing some information having it soo low??

A crossover of 60hz is low for a speaker that only goes down to 55hz. For example, my Studios go down around 28hz and I crossover at 80hz even though a 60hz seems more reasonable in my case (usually shoot for an octave higher) The sub just seems to handle everything under 80 better than my speakers. I hear no localization up to about the 100hz mark.

In the end, it is your system and your ears. Play with it and set it to where it sounds best to you.

The frequency response on your center is likely less than the mains, so check the specs. 60 or 80 Hz should be fine for the crossover.
