Hi all,

Do you use the audyssey apps midrange compensation or not, ( the BBC dip) and what would be the reasons for or against? Do all speakers need it or not?

Thanks.

No speakers actually need it. Best not to use Audyssey.

May be some of those speakers BBC used to use may do better with it.:D:D Of all people, I thought you would know a few of those speakers.

For the BBC it made some sense. This smiley was for speakers designed to be used in small quarters, especially outside broadcast vans. In this situation that correction does give a sense of depth perception, which is what is required if you are in a broadcast van outside a cathedral.
