No. You will get erroneous results. The mics are unique to the receiver.

No, the results should be different if it runs at all. What should work fine is one of these Marantz branded ACM1-H Audyssey mics. An ACM1-H should be an ACM1-H but I'd double check with a call to Onkyo that your 707 came with an ACM1-H. I'm pretty sure it and everything since the x06 series did but they didn't label them with a full model number so I have no way of checking mine for you.

This discussion claims that the cut-over to the "H" model was mid 2008.

Thanks guys, didn't know for positive if the mics sensitivity and such were different, which is what the entire program is based around.

Not worth trying to change out my receivers and amplifiers to find out if it would work, since it would take a ridiculous amount of time, always smarter to ask someone who knows more before wasting time that I could be spending doing other stuff!
