Michael Phelps busted for smoking a bong

And after sporting chiefs announced laws which mean four-year bans for drug-taking, Phelps’ dreams of adding to his overall 14 gold medal tally at the 2012 games in London could already be OVER.

That's pretty senseless and cruel. He can drink alchohol but smokes some herb he is a criminal?

Who was the A-hole that felt the need to market this photo to some rag magazine.

Most likely the guy who was still holding in the last hit.

Calling it blatant is, at best, debatable.
My real problem: This guy is a role model. Granted, while in my earlier years I actually inhaled (several times), smoking pot is not a smart move; but certainly not a good reason for the negative publicity he's received.
I personally don't care that much about Phelps getting bad press.
I'm just really tired of our need to find fault in the few positives we have as a society.

I do believe that Mr. Phelps has learned a thing or two about friendship. What could that photo be worth? It's a hard lesson.

Pot may be illegal but so is kissing your horse in some states.
