MFSL Pink Floyd - Dark Side is truly great

I have the versions:

1.) included with Shine On (this was Parson's mix, which most don't know, he oversaw DSotM specifically)
2.) 20th Anniversary
3.) Wembley Pre-Master Live
4.) MFSL
5.) SACD

MFSL is the best of the lot. Guthrie's mix I do not care for. I have an ear for Gilmour's taste in the recording sounding "wet" instead of Waters' preference for "dry". Guthrie should have included Parson's on the project, or it shoul have been Parsons' project entirely.

I have all but The Wall on MFSL. But Atom Heart Mother is the one to get out of every MFSL recording released. Why? ATM is one of the worst recordings ever released and MFSL did a terrific job of eliminating the massive tape hiss.

I enjoy my Queen releases on MFSL too. I miss the days of Buy One, Get One Free at my local shop in the mid-90's.

There's also a live version of DSOTM on a DVD ("Pulse") if you want to watch Gilmour, Mason, & Wright on stage, along with cute women in see-through dresses.

Based on this post I Netflixed Pulse and was greatly entertained.
That is what you call a show.

You're welcome for the information Hawkeye. I've yet to come across a more knowledgeable Pink Floyd than myself. If you ever have a question on a Pink Floyd CD, LP, etc., lemme know. I'll have an answer fast, just off of the top of my head.

But I will say out of all MFSL Floyd releases, the most relevant is the Atom Heart Mother release. It is a must have, IMO.
