I have a Musical Fidelity A3.2cr pre. After hours of audio testing and cable switching, the conclusion is: the left output is muddy, less dB, less musical, it's messing the soundstage etc.

Do you have any idea what might cause the problem; is it an easy fix, is it worth trying to fix it or better to contact MF Service? The pre is out of warranty

I'd contact MuFi's service (or a local dealer that services them). They can probably give you an idea what's wrong and around how much parts and labor would be.
