I received by far the most touching xmas card I've ever received today. A buddy was going through a divorce this year and I helped him out like I think a friend should. He said some very, very nice things and, I'm not gonna lie, it got a little dusty in the eyes around here. This was shortly thereafter followed by a very touching text from my best lady friend (by which I mean, my best friend who is a girl, back off perverts). Any ways, I feel like the luckiest guy in the world tonight :) I've got 3 beautiful nieces, an awesome nephew, a family I get along with, the best friends I could ask for, I'm gainfully employed and making enough to pay the bills with left overs. Life is good and I'm thankful.

The wife and I did our yearly Christmas Eve sushi and martini outing last night. We always go to the same place as we love the bartender there.

He wasn't there last night and upon inquiring of his whereabouts we were told that he was killed in a car wreck last week. Put a big damper on our night.

Hug the ones you love a little tighter on this special day.

RIP Ryan!!!!!!

Merry Christmas all my friends!!!!!!!

Sad news, man. Sorry for his family and friends, including you and your wife.

You're a wise man. People (including me) often take for granted that folks we love will always be around. Presents and material things come and go...and unfortunately so do loved ones - and we all know which we'll miss more when they're gone. It's awesome to get toys, but don't forget those who are around you when you get them. :)
