Do ALL media players get A - V disconnected?
I'm on my third unit, and it frustrates the snot out of me. Brand new KDLinks HD700 and I'm watching a movie that ripped awhile ago, and where I didn't hear it in previous versions of the film, kept hearing irritating pops and the audio became increasingly disconnected to the point it became unwatchable.
So, I DL a BD of the same movie, and fast forwarded to the same point in the movie... and the audio is "slightly" disconnected. Several stops and restarts gets it almost connected. I have not attempted to watch that DL from the beginning, but would suspect I won't see an issue.
current hookup is the HD700 HDMI 1.3 to Pioneer SC-65, and HDMI to TV. Files are wirelessly served off WHS 1.0. Would local file storage have an impact?
Is the only solution a HTPC? It would only need to be a player, I have a file server available to store files.
