Mcintosh speakers, most overpriced on the market?

Other then their amps and pre amps Mcintosh makes nothing but crap and now days where class D is taking over their amps are nothing but expensive paper weights. My MC501 amps sound 100% the same as a class D receiver.

You must be kidding,i demoed the mc501's at the same time as the mc1201's & i thought they were great amps,if you really think they suck that bad then lets make a deal,they would be sweet for my rear channels.

The MC501's are a better amp then the 1201's but for the price a good quality class D amp is a much better choice.

Tawnos,your a blowhard,all talk & full of crap,you'd be the first mc501 owner ive ever heard of talk about thier own amps in such a way infact on top of claiming that you own mc501's(not) you've also made other wild claims like you own a mx-135,i say your full of it & challenge you to post one single pic of your amps along with your processor with its cover removed as you said you've done.

Being that you can afford $15,000 worth of high end gear that you hate rounding up a camera shouldnt be a big deal(whats that you say? you allready sold the mc501's & the mx-135) no sweat just pm me the serial numbers & we can prove in a jiffy if you've ever owned these peices of gear that you claim.

The GT40 is a nice car, but some of the best performing cars aren't expensive.

Case in point: Ariel Atom. A $50 000 dollar tube frame with a supercharged Civic Type R motor. Faster then a Carrera GT. HOT!

Works for me,i stand corrected,what i cant figure out is your agenda,you own the 3rd most expensive amplifiers mcintosh sells but they suck,you own the current flagship mcintosh pre/pro but it sucks too,you own martin logans but they too suck & if you were'nt sure they sucked the first time you bought a 2nd pair & they suck,from another thread you also hate krell gear it sucks.

In every thread you post you have nothing but contempt for high end gear but you sure spend alot of cash on it,theres an agenda in there somewhere so let it be known.
