I currently have the B&W-AS2 sub and have been pretty happy with it. My livingroom is about 275sqft. An guy i know let me borrow his MartinLogan-Grotto sub last week. To me it seems to fill the room with much more soft-even bass. Even at lower volumes it still performs incredible. He told me that its been in storage & he needs some cash. He will sell it to me for $250.

Is that a good price?
Is that worth it for a used sub that as far as i can tell is in great shape?
Can anyone give me some good or bad info on this sub?

I am about to buy it but just want to make sure that this is a decent purchase...thanks for you help!!

It's a good sub from what I've seen and read. It doesn't have the ULF (<20hz) that some subs in it's price range are capable of but it's of quality construction from a reputable manufacture. 7/10

At that price it is hard for anyone to pass up, especially if good condition!

Do it!

$250.00 is a great price for that sub. It is of reasonably solid performance.
