Martian Logan Descent I

Ok, some people are addicted to drugs or alcohol, right now I am in upgrade mode on my HT as I move into my new home this summer:

My authorized Martian Logan Dealer has a special purchase on a set of Descent I Subwoofers: $1900/ea or $3800 a pair. I heard them next to their CLX Art line of speakers and I have to say I am impressed.

Has anyone had experience with these subs, because this looks like it could be a really good deal for a pair.

For 1900 you have a lot of options. SVS ultra subs are the safest bet IMO. The problem with sealed subs is you lose the low end because the sub can't move more air than is in the box. Of course sealed subs are also much smaller.

The Rythmik FV15HP is also a great alternative in that price range, it can keep up with the PB13 and is less expensive. If you can raise your budget a bit, you ought to look at some Funk 18.0se subs or some Seaton Submersives, a pair of either those will kill crush destroy some Descents.
