Just received this today. I wasn't surprised to see Olevia near the top of the 32's and a CR Best Buy for the 42" (not sure where they are in the 37" bracket), but I was amazed to see the Westinghouse at or near the bottom in every category. The Viewsonic blew me away at last place in the 32" range.

Consumer Reports Review from Buckeye Fan

Buckeye-I'm going to take the opportunity to say Thank You! from the readership for posting this & making it available to all those who may not have access to Consumer Reports.

I noticed that a bunch of the write-ups for 1080 LCDs said the tv was unable to accept a 1080p signal (although it would convert a 1080i signal). That seems odd. I would think if you are going through all the effort to put the pixels on there, it would be a simple matter to read the signal. I know there is currently no 1080p programming, but don't next gen DVD players and PS3/XBOX360 output 1080p?
