Marantz vs Denon AVR side by side comparison table?

Is there a side by side comparison table of the Denon vs Marantz AVRs somewhere? Many of their models appear similar being sibling companies, but there seem to connectivity and spec differences.

They have some fairly direct matchups, just that Marantz here in the US at least comes at a premium for little difference. I'd just go with Denon myself. Unless you need a strict pre-pro, then Denon doesn't have one. Zkelectronics as suggested is a very good avr comparison tool, tho.

Actually my use of AVR is a pre-pro for all the connectivity. Marantz pre-pro is out of my price range. I buy the factory refurb Marantz, have had good luck twice.

The Denon AVR-A10H will most likely measured a little better than the Marantz Cinema 30 because it uses better DAC ICs but if you don't know that then you will not likely hear any difference anyway. The Cinema 30 offers two selectable DAC filters that will give you two different frequency responses and distortion/noise levels, but then again those differences are theoretical, though measurable by instruments, yet there has been no evidence that humans could tell the differences but that's a different topic that I just want to mention it as there are so much misconception/hearsay based posts you may run into in your research.

If I am to choose, your approach of using a side by side comparison of the features, look, and price is a good way to base your final decision on but that's just my opinion. Final note: Use as preamp/DAC/Processor, electronically speaking, aside from the better DAC the Denon has, and the senseless HDAMs the Marantz has, the two are virtually the same. Apparently, depending on your region/country, Marantz likely offers a longer warranty, that is 5 years vs Denon's 3 years.

The models compared in my post are similar in price and vary just a bit in features. Both process 13 channels but the A10H also powers 13 while the Cinema 30 powers 11.

The A10H also supports 15 channel pre outs for simultaneous Dolby Atmos and Auro 3-D speaker configurations and can flip between them when processing for one or the other is needed.

I wouldn’t kick the X6800H out of bed. It is nearly identical in features to the Cinema 30 for much less money. The X6800H, A10H and Cinema 30 all include the 2CH Playback, Bass Extraction and LFE Distribution features that will really benefit those using true Full Range speakers in their system. They have more options to tweak things to their liking.

Read up on HDAM not particularly convinced on its usefulness. I'd rather opt for better DAC. But I don't need that many channels. So which Denon model with pre-outs would you experts recommend with fewer channels but the same better DAC? Perhaps also lesser price. Just a reminder it will be my pre-pro. This will replace Marantz 6010.

The X6800 seems to be in the sweet spot to me. Not too “high” (not as expensive as A10 or A1) and not too “low”.
