I am really hoping to bag one of those. WAYYYYYYY more receiver than I need, but why not! Having more than you need is the american way!

I just have to convince the wife that I need new axioms or B&W's to go with that :)

It's a digital amp, like the Harman Kardon Digital Path series.

23lbs and retails for $1799 (can be had for closer to $900)

They are very light. I think that Sony receiver is closer to 30 lbs. I have a class D mono amp in my truck. Light, and they don't get hot. Very powerful. The distortion is rated a bit higher, but is said to be typical of digital path amps, and totally inaudible.
