Marantz SR7012 + power amp problems.

Hi can you help me?

i have the marantz sr7012 and got Harman kardon Signature 2.1 from a friend. I really like the sound but got som problems and wondering if you can help.

first of all, do i have to change Some settings in marantz? I have the H/K for front and center speaker.

the problem i have is that when i start everything up (have a trigger Cable) sometimes the center just have a test tone noice and the fronts sounds really low and sometimes the center is whitout sound and fronts sounds low And sometimes it works great. Why is this?

Speakers front sonus Faber venere 1.5 6ohm
Center sonus Faber chameleon 4ohm

And when i turn all of and on it always popps in the speakers.

All This doesnt happen if i only use marantzs

Amps are pretty easy – plug them in and they work. Sounds like your friend gave you an amp with problems.

If you're only using three of the channels, have you tried all five of them? Did you run Audyssey or manual setup to incorporate/calibrate the amp with your system?
