Marantz SR7009 issue with crosstalk rear surround and sub

I notice a strange issue when checking the Levels settings for my 7.1 set up. When testing levels on rear surround I also get the noise sound from my subs. Same with both left and right rear surround channels. There is no cross talk with any of the other channels.

I run all surrounds (“normal” and rear) on a 4 channel amp.

All 7 speaker are small and crossover at 100 Hz.

Could some one test if they have same with rear surround (or other channel) so I know I the receiver is broken?

Thanks

I have now tried following:
Test 1-4: Sub 1 pre-out in use
  1. Surround amp off
    Surround speaker set to Small
    Crossover 100Hz
Result: Still noise in sub when setting level for rear surround channel
  2. Surround amp off and disconnect all cables to power amp
    Surround speaker set to Small
    Crossover 100Hz
Result: Still noise in sub when setting level for rear surround channel
  3. Surround amp off
    Surround speakers set to Large
    Subwoofer: LFE
    Result: No sound I sub
  4. Surround amp off
    Surround speakers set to Large
    Subwoofer: LFE+Main
Result: Still noise in sub when setting level for rear surround channel

    Test 5- : Sub 2 pre-out in use
  5. Surround amp off
    Surround speaker set to Small
    Crossover 100Hz
Result: No sound I sub :)
Something is wrong with the sub 1 pre-out. Since I run the sub signal via a minidsp I don’t really need both 1 and 2 pre-out so I can live with this issue. I could try to have it fixed by a local guy I know but it’s always a risk something else goes wrong, so I think I just let it be.
