Marantz receiver 7005 - Is this Recommended?

I was looking for Receiver for PSB T6, and ran into multiple brick walls. And finally found 7005 at a reasonable price (a tad on the higher side).

I found this receiver among the few recommended ones to be within my price range. What do you audioholics feel about this? Is there anything lacking here that you would otherwise recommend as 'good to have'...or is this over kill? Should I consider other alternatives to this?

It has the following features, Audyssey MultEQ XT, Ethernet, Pre-outs, HDMI 6-In / 2-Out (among various other inputs).
Front Panel has: USB, HDMI, Digital Optical, Video, Analog L/R, Phono,
I dont think I would ever use the multi room feature, but networking...is how most of my music will be played from.
Would sub woofer out be possible in 2 channel?
What would the performance be like for music?

Kindly excuse for the new post. I felt the other thread was kinda dead.

I think PENG pointed out that the 7005 AVR had not-so-stellar spec measurements on Home Theater Mag. You probably won't notice any lacking of sound quality though.

I think the Marantz AVR will sound great for music and movies, just like a Denon AVR, Pioneer Elite, Arcam, Rotel, Yamaha, HK, etc.

For music, you can always do 2.1 if you set up your 2Ch playback as 2.1 (with subwoofer).

It's all about the FEATURES you want and the PRICE you can afford.
