The AV8003 features 8x150 watt amplifier with a tuner/preamp/processor, it has a built-in digital media player that will allow you to stream audio and high defenition video via Ethernet port from a networked PC or an NAS (Network Attached Storage) device. The device decodes multiple A/V codecs, but it isn't clear if it will stream protected audio and video content from a PC. It supports XM radio, HDMI 1.3a Deep Color, 1080-p upscaling and all surround codecs approved for use in Bluray and HD DVD.
If it does work as advertised this can double as a media library controller, it's slated to be released in May. No price was given but figure about $2200 msrp.
