You can do so with Nero. So long as the software you use can make a bit perfect copy it works just like making a CD.

On second thought, you're probably talking about movie DVDs in DTS, not DTS music discs, right? In that case you'll need something like DVD Decrypter and something like NERO or Roxio.

It's not really hard either, but the legality of doing it is possibly questionable.

DTS CDs can be copied just like any other CD becasue they are still PCM. For your own use from a master that you own, that is legal.

I believe for DVDs, again, it is legal if it is for your own use, but only if you own the movies from which you will be sampling.

Merely cracking the CSS is a "crime," I believe. I think the Kalidescope movie server guys ran afoul of The Industry for just that reason (and they had paid a lisence fee! ).

There are ways of upconverting a 2 channel CD SACD to a 5.1 DTS music cd. It sounds good if you are not a super audiophile... you need Adobe Audition and surcode DTS.

If you have a program called Bitorrent there are a number of discs already of this nature. A friend has one and it's loaded with THX samples with DTS audio (if that makes sense :D)
