I just bought am Adcom GTP-500 since it has a phono section. I had been using my NAD C370 as the amplifier and preamp. I had my subwoofer plugged into the preamp outputs of the NAD. Now I would like to use the Adcom as my preamp, but still use the subwoofer with line-level connections.
Is this possible?

Thanks for help

Nick

It occurred to me that I could buy 2 Y splitters and split the signal from the preamps out, send half to the NAD, half to the sub for each channel. Would this degrade the sound at all?

Better options?

Thanks again

I've played with it a bit and now have the "norm" main-out running to my sub and the "lab" main-out running to my amp. Any reason running both of the main-outs at the same time would cause a problem?

Man...this thread is kinda like I'm talking to myself...creepy

That would be the preferred way.

Thanks for the response. Is that beter than using the two main-outs as I'm doing now?
