I just purchased a new M1 iMAC. Apple Music played from the iMAC via wi-fi to my AirPlay enabled Marantz NR1200 Receiver times out and disconnects from the Receiver and to re-connect the iMAC must be restarted. A call to Apple Support confirmed no user error, instead, the M1 firmware is defective and will be fixed in firmware update. So disappointed and now I am wondering about whether I should trust there will indeed be a fix forthcoming, or should I just return the iMAC to Best Buy's for a credit?
