M&K S-1Bs and M&K V-1B

What can you tell me about these speakers? I bought them early-mid '90s I just found out that M&K went out, -- the sub has not worked for a while, anybody know what might be it's issue? What might their value be? What level of quality are they in the M&K line? mucho thanks

In their day, they were M&K's audiophile speaker. M&K came out with a newer model in the 90's at some point which was the S-1C, which was also a great speaker. It was essentially the same speaker with updated tweeters and drivers. IIRC, the V-1B was also a great subwoofer in it's day, but is a bit dated by todays standards. I don't mean it's not good, just there are better options out there. I'm not sure if it's worth fixing and have absolutely no idea what it's value might be. I don't recall it selling for much on ebay. I'd seen the S-1C's sell for ~around a grand a few years back, but I think the S-1b's were only going for maybe $200, but I couldn't swear by it.
